Summer Lovin EOI - Partnership

General Information

The City of Bunbury is excited to launch our summer events program, Summer Lovin’, returning this November! Running from 1 December 2026 to 28 February 2027, the program supports a vibrant calendar of events and activities across Bunbury’s CBD and iconic waterways.

Summer Lovin’ is all about celebrating our community, encouraging residents and visitors to connect, get involved, and experience everything Bunbury has to offer during the warmer months.

Program Objectives

The Summer Lovin’ program aims to:

  • Activate key public spaces across Bunbury.

  • Boost local pride and strengthen community connections.

  • Position Bunbury as a hub of culture, creativity, and fun.

  • Support events led by community groups, local businesses and organisers.

  • Drive foot traffic and visitation to the City Centre.

  • Connect a range of events and activities under one exciting summer campaign.

We’re inviting community groups, event organisers, and local businesses to express their interest in delivering independent events or activities that align with the Summer Lovin’ objectives.

Whether you’re planning something brand new or refreshing an existing idea – we want to hear from you!

To be eligible, your activity or event should:

  • Take place in one of our key activation locations: Koombana Foreshore, Koombana North, Jetty Baths, Back Beach, Koolambidi Woola, Leschenault Inlet, Bicentennial Square, Graham Bricknell Music Shell, Queens Gardens, Guppy Park or Bunbury CBD.

  • Be open, inclusive and accessible to the public.

  • Contribute to a healthy, active and/or socially connected community.

For Local Businesses

Summer Lovin’ is a chance to think beyond business-as-usual. We encourage you to explore creative pop-ups or mini activations. Could your café host a twilight tasting night? Could you collaborate with a local artist for a live mural painting? Or maybe you’d like to take your services outdoors for a day? Let your ideas run wild. We’re here to support you!
